Introducing a series of transformer and URD connectors featuring Homac’s new EZ Torque™ shear-head screws. No special tools are required. EZ Torque series connectors are installed with an industry standard hex wrench. When tightened, the heads of the screws “break-away” once the proper torque has been applied. The shear-head design ensures that optimal torque has been achieved for both the transformer stud screw and the cable port screws. Once installed, screws are removable with the same hex wrench. Eliminate failures due to improper installation - use Homac’s EZ Torque connectors for a safe, reliable, EZ connection.

Homac is proud to introduce a new complete line of Heat-Shrink Compression Splice Kits which meet all of the requirements of UL 486 D and ANSI C119.1 Homac’s new product line bringsmore options, flexibility and choices to our customers for splicing and repairing underground and overhead insulated electrical cables.
The new Heat-Shrink Compression Splice Kits consist of high performance, heavywall heat-shrink tubing lined with hot-melt adhesives/sealants, and proven Homac connectors. The heavy-wall tubing provides environmental sealing and insulating properties, as well as excellent impact and abrasion resistance. The hot-melt lining flows when the tubing is heated using a propane torch or an electric heat gun and provides a superior watertight seal when the adhesive/sealant is cooled.
